‘Twas the Night Before Rivergate Christmas

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the office

Not a creature was writing, the party was too raucous

The social posts had been Buffered for vacation with care,

In hopes that website visitors soon would be there.

The clients were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of 6-figure projects danced in their heads.

And Georgia in her kerchief and Meghan in her cap,

Had settled their brains for a long night’s gift-wrap.

When out in the marketplace there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from the office chair to see what was the matter.

Away to the Analytics I flew like a flash,

Clicked open the account and scrolled down the cache.

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But thousands of new pageviews, their origin unclear.

With a little more digging, I noticed the sessions,

Were only outnumbered by our website impressions!

More rapid than eagles the project requests came

And I shouted, hoorayed and dare did proclaim!

“Now PLCs! Now programming! Now FAT Tests!

On documentation! On Mindsphere! On MES!”

To the front of the line! Through the tight firewall!

Now dash away! Dash away!  Dash away all!”

The engineer grabbed his laptop to commission and start,

And away it all flew with not one damaged part

But I heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight,

“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”
