Here’s what you can expect when you become a client of Rivergate Marketing.

An extension of your team

As your marketing partner, the key to successfully implementing a strong marketing program is becoming part of your team. We learn your business from the inside out to develop a custom strategy that’s as unique as your organization to fuel your brand online. We know you are busy running your business; we work to make the process as easy as possible for you and your team.

Strategy before tactics

We believe the initial strategy and planning phase is so important that we start every engagement with an in-depth onboarding and discovery process.

A two-day intensive

We’ll come to you and spend two days learning all about you and your business. We’ll take a deep dive into your world and learn about the history of your company and your unique selling proposition (USP). We’ll get to know your team and business, your services, the industries you serve, your buyer personas, and your business goals and objectives.

Client interviews

Next, it’s time to get acquainted with your clients. For inbound marketing to be truly effective you have to know who you are talking to. We take what we learned during our two-day intensive and take it a step further. Client interviews are part of our discovery process to better understand your Buyer Personas. We’ll find out who your customers are, why they use your services, what you do well, what you can improve upon, and more. This helps us to understand what’s important to your audience and how we can craft messages that speak uniquely to them.

Get to work

Based on everything we’ve learned, we’ll develop a custom marketing strategy to reach your target audience, and then we’ll execute! Your plan could include any or all of the following:

Participation in company meetings

On an ongoing basis, we are available to participate in various company meetings to stay abreast of changing priorities and new developments. 

This is important to make sure your marketing program is nimble and responsive to your needs as we work to establish your unique differentiation and value proposition. 

Typically, we participate in clients’ once-a-month strategy meetings and weekly tactical meetings.

Working with your team

Creating ongoing fresh content that is interesting and valuable to your target audience is a top priority for inbound marketing success. Most people do not like to write, especially engineers and busy executives. This is where we excel in helping our clients make marketing as painless as possible. We’ll coordinate with your team to help produce consistent content. There are several ways this content will be created:

Tracking progress

We do not ‘set and forget it’ – we continually reassess marketing and PR performance along the way. By focusing on analytics, your feedback, and collective insight from the team, we continue to make improvements to the marketing and PR strategy to enhance ROI.

We produce consistent, quality content and track our KPIs monthly. Every every 6 months, we’ll come visit you to check in, review our progress, and re-strategize as needed.
